Doctrine

1. We believe love for God and for one another are the greatest commandants. We cannot serve God without love in our hearts.

2. We believe the whole Bible is inspired by God, and is our all-sufficient rule of faith and practice.
( II Timothy 3:16-17; Psalm 119:160)

3. We believe Jesus started His Church during His personal earthly ministry.
(Matthew 16:18; 18:17)

4. We believe a person must be born again (saved) in order to escape hell and enter Heaven.
(John 3:3)

5. We believe you are saved by grace through faith in Christ Jesus, and the requirements for salvation are repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
(John 3:16; Acts 20:21; Ephesians 2:8-9)

6. We believe that the Holy Spirit convicts sinners, regenerates, seals, secures, and indwells every believer.
(John 16:8-9; Ephesians 1:13-14)

7. We believe a Church is a local visible body of Scriptural baptized believers.
(Acts 2:41)

8. We believe the Lord gave His Church the two pictorial ordinances of Baptism and the Lord's Supper.
(Matthew 26:26-29; Matthew 28:19-20)

9. We believe Scriptural baptism can be administered by a true New Testament Church only, and the candidate must be a born again believer. Only total submersion correctly pictures the death burial and resurrection of Jesus.
(Acts 8:12; Matthew 28:18-20)

10. We believe Jesus Christ is the head and founder of the Church, and no other ecclesiastical body may exercise authority over it.
(Ephesians 4:15)

11. We believe in the historical succession of our church and Baptist beliefs from the time of Christ until now. At no point in time has there ceased to exist a true New Testament Church with the Baptist beliefs.

12. We believe abortion and homosexuality are sins.
(Romans 1:26-27)
